Yup, there were small grocery stores with this name in Puerto Vallarta & Ixtapa. Actually, it's a brand of bread & pastry products (like Hostess, we think).

This sign was found in Cabo San Lucas. Need we say more?

We took Ellie to the Panama Canal for Mother's Day. She calls it a wonderful experience to be cherished for a long time. We call it sucking up.

We are standing in the Observation Lounge on the very front of the ship. We are dressed up for Mother's Day.

When the evening winds down, we would sneak into the casino to play the "push" game. While we pumped "several" dollars into this game, we ended up winning about $34.

While there were no "Doris Day" parking spaces to be had during the Panama Canal trip. Joe did manage a way to exercise his luck. Here he is talking to the assistant cruise director after winning a FREE CRUISE from a raffle drawing.

When most people win things, they get excited. When Joe discovered that he had the winning ticket, he calmly stood up and said, "I think I've got it." He & Ellie get to take up to a 15-day cruise sometime within the next year.

Here they are with cruise brochures trying to narrow down where to go on their free cruise. The winning ticket is in Joe's right hand with the brochures. Appearantly, no thought has been put into taking either of us, or giving us the cruise outright. They are now out of our will.

1) So Joe and Ellie seemed to have possibly settled on a Hawaii cruise next spring. This is how Ellie broke the news to us.

or...

2) When asked if she had any comments for the friends and family that wer left behind, Ellie had this response.

"So this guy walks into a bar..." This is Joel and Joe before dinner on the last night of the cruise. Joel was telling some bad joke or something.

It is really amazing what you can do with grape seeds. Joe first used them to leave a message for our server for dinner, then he later used them to build a model replica of the Statue of Liberty.

When we returned to the room on the last night, many of the guests had already put out their luggage for the return trip.

When word got around about Joe's winnings in Bingo and at the casino, he decided he needed to wear a life jacket everywhere he went -- people were too eager to push him overboard.

Here is Ellie pretending that she would jump in to save him. We all laughed at that one!

This last photo of the cruise is Joe and Ellie hanging out on their balcony. This was the morning of debarkation when we all were waiting for our group to be let off the ship.
